Solad attended the 2-day Solar & Storage Live Exhibition 2026 – this year’s theme being “Transition to Transaction: Scaling Clean Power in Nigeria.”
The conference served as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, business partnerships, and investment opportunities that will help accelerate universal energy access and support Nigeria’s clean energy transition.
On DAY 1, Our Business and Strategy Manager, Oyinda Sogunle, moderated one of the panels “From Import Dependence to Industrialization: Building Nigeria’s Local Content Value Chain.”
The session explored one of the most important questions facing Nigeria’s clean energy sector today: “How do we ensure that the renewable energy transition builds sustainable domestic manufacturing capacity and local industrialization?”
The discussion examined the structural barriers to local manufacturing, the role of policy and financing, infrastructure and supply chain challenges, human capital development, and the partnerships needed to strengthen Nigeria’s renewable energy value chain.
With the numerous stakeholders in attendance from government agencies, private sector stakeholders, renewable energy service providers to financiers and manufacturers, Nigeria’s clean energy transition is taking shape.
