Denis O’Brien

Denis is a proven entrepreneur with 17+ years experience in the telecommunications and payments services sector in Nigeria. He co-founded VANSO Nigeria which catalysed the emergence of digital banking in Nigeria and was later acquired by Interswitch (ISW) where he became CEO of the digital team, driving value to in excess of $1 billion. Denis is now focused on driving change in the fast-emerging renewable energy sector in Nigeria. Denis also sits on a number of boards as a Non-Executive Director. He also provides consultancy services to payments and fintech startups in Nigeria.
